IS

Arctic Fox currently consists of Fred Barter, Nick Apostolopoulos, and Andy Barter. All talented musicians with years of experience playing with other bands and playing live venues. All our songs are originals and vary in music geners.

We hope you enjoy our music, as much as we do creating it and bringing it to you.

Fred Barter, hails from Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada. Raised in Labrador, Canada and moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of eighteen. Currently Lead Singer/songwriter and intrumentalist for Arctic Fox.He was a bassist for Speckletons and the Royal Impressions for 2 years. Bassist and vocalist for Eastern Reflections for nine years. Prior to that he was writing songs and playing guitar and keyboards for many years. During the years with Eastern Reflections, they played many venues at local bars, Charity gatherings, Pig and Corn roasts, private parties of companies, and even a large nudist colony. The experience of these venues will be long remembered. But there was something missing, he wanted to get back into song writing and playing various instruments again. With much sorrow he chose to persue this avenue and left Eastern Reflections Jan. 2001. He then created Arctic Fox and began writing and recording songs. The songs he has written are of a wide variety from bluegrass, to jazz, acoustic, metal, alternative rock, hard rock, rock n roll, blues, easy rock, easy listening, and instrumental songs.

Andrew Barter, born in Labrador City, Newfoundland, Canada. Plays lead guitar, bass, and piano. Influences are Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore, Night Ranger, and Toto. He also played the bass in high school and local bands in Labrador for five years. When he moved to Toronto he and Fred wrote and played songs together for a year which stopped when Fred joined Eastern Reflections and he had other matters to tend to. Since Fred left eastern reflections he is playing lead guitar with him again and get back into song writing. A good sample of this is his song "Girl From Hell".

Nick Apostolopoulos: Born in Toronto, Canada, Nick is a recent addition to Arctic Fox. He brings with him, fantastic lead guitar playing skills and a good imagination for song writing. Nick has been playing guitar since he was 13 yrs. old. He played in a Heavy metal band in Vancouver for 5 yrs. But he isn't just a heavy metal player. He also likes to play easylistening, jazz, psychodelic rock, and some very off the wall styles that I cannot classify.

Also we welcome Daryl Brown, an excellent piano player and composer. Daryl has helped us greatly with songs such as "Second Soul" and "Why Can't I Have You Anymore". We look forward to working with Daryl again in the future.

A great person and female vocalist, Susan Sexsmith has helped us with the writing and singing of "WTF" on our album "Psychopathology". Living in the Trenton area of Southern Ontario, Susan trains young people how to professionaly sing and perform on stage. These up and coming stars are entered into Canada wide competitions to display the skills they have learned from Susan. I have seen a few and was very impressed with her work.
